    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing and using the services provided by Eagle Home Appraisal Fuquay-Varina ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

    2. Description of Services

    Eagle Home Appraisal Fuquay-Varina provides professional real estate appraisal services including but not limited to residential property appraisals, divorce appraisals, estate appraisals, probate appraisals, and IRS tax appraisals. Our services are performed by state-certified appraisers in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

    3. Service Agreement

    Upon engaging our services, you will receive a fee quote and scope of work. Payment terms, delivery timelines, and specific requirements will be outlined in the service agreement. By proceeding with the appraisal order, you agree to the terms specified in the engagement letter or quote provided.

    4. Payment Terms

    Payment is due as specified in the service agreement. We accept various forms of payment including credit cards and checks. Appraisal reports will be delivered upon receipt of payment unless otherwise arranged. Refunds are not provided once the appraisal inspection has been completed.

    5. Client Responsibilities

    Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, including access to the property for inspection, disclosure of known defects or issues, and any relevant documentation (permits, surveys, HOA documents, etc.). Failure to provide access or accurate information may result in delays or additional fees.

    6. Appraisal Reports

    Appraisal reports are prepared for the intended use and intended users specified in the report. The appraisal represents an opinion of value as of the effective date stated in the report. Property values may change over time due to market conditions. The report is not a guarantee of value and should not be relied upon as such.

    7. Confidentiality

    We maintain the confidentiality of all client information and appraisal assignments in accordance with USPAP requirements and applicable laws. Appraisal reports and client information are not shared with third parties except as required by law or with the client's written consent.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the appraisal services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our appraisal reports. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    9. Dispute Resolution

    Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wake County, North Carolina, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

    10. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
